Baileys join BE Arena Eventing as title sponsors

Long-time supporters of British Eventing, Baileys Horse Feeds, expand their sponsorship to include the British Eventing Arena Eventing series.

Baileys, who also sponsor the popular Jumping & Style (JAS) and Jump Training series, have become title sponsors of the BE Arena Eventing competition. Introduced in 2015, Arena Eventing provides even more opportunities for members and non-members of BE to compete throughout the winter months, with 17 qualifying events during November, December, January and February, culminating in a Championship, at Aston Le Walls, on 24th February 2018.

The Arena Eventing series, which sees riders tackling a course of show jumps immediately followed by a round of arena cross country fences, is now in full swing, with qualifiers at 11 locations across the country. The classes are set at AE80 (80cm), AE90 (90cm) and AE100 (100cm) level and, at the end of the cross country element, riders face a joker fence which is approximately 10cm higher than the rest of the course. More information on the series can be found on the BE website HERE.

Baileys have supported the JAS and Jump Training series for over 15 years and, says Marketing Manager, Jane Buchan: “They fit well with our ethos of supporting education and training for grass roots riders. Arena Eventing adds a fun element to winter competition and introduces new riders to the sport so we’re looking forward to being involved,” she adds.

Jump Training provides competitors with a guided warm-up, two rounds of show jumping and coach feedback, and is the ideal preparation for riders looking to improve their show jumping ahead of next season. JAS is set out over a round of show jumps followed by a timed round of cross country-style fences, which also sees combinations judged on their style and technique. As with Arena Eventing both competitions give riders the opportunity to qualify for a Championship weekend, which for JAS and Jump Training, is held on 17th and 18th February 2018, at Hartpury College.
