Berriewood Horse Trials 2016 31 May 17

Entries open and exciting developments at Berriewood Horse Trials this year

Entries are still open for the Berriewood Horse Trials taking place on Saturday 10 to Sunday 11 June 2017, near Shrewsbury in Shropshire.

Running classes from BE80(T) to BE100 Open level, (with the aim to run BE100 classes on both days) the cross country route is redesigned running anti-clockwise this year and gives horses and riders an ideal education as the water has been remodelled to a gentle bowl with walk-in and walk out options in the BE80(T) and BE90, and is now towards the end of the course.

The recent rain has been heavy and there is extremely good grass cover, along with the cross country course being ‘aerovated’ wherever appropriate depending on the weather in the build up to the event.

On top of that the BE80(T) classes also include the opportunity to qualify for the Blue Chip Central North West BE80(T) Challenge hosted at Weston Park Horse Trials in October. Introduced in 2016, the challenge is designed to enhance the education of BE80(T) competitors and the popular series sees the winner of take home the fantastic prize of sponsorship for one year from Blue Chip Feed.
