Livestreaming of the Baileys sponsored British Eventing Jumping & Style Championships
On Sunday 19th February British Eventing are bringing live competition action from the Baileys sponsored Jumping & Style (JAS) Championships via their online channel BETV.
This Sunday the Novice and Open Novice JAS Championship classes, scheduled from approximately 3pm, will be free for all to view on www.britisheventing.tv along with interviews with riders and expert knowledge from judges on the day.
BE’s JAS Championship is the culmination of a qualifying series that has taken place throughout January and February and, thanks to BETV and title sponsors Baileys, viewers will have a front row seat to the crowning of the 2017 Champions. Along with watching the competition unfold BETV will be catching up with riders taking part and hearing from judges, four star event rider, Ruth Edge and, British Showjumping Level 2 judge, Liz Parsons on what they are looking for in a winning round.
The popular JAS series is open to both BE members and non-members and provides riders with the opportunity to compete and hone their skills ahead of the new eventing season which kicks off on the 4th March. Hosted indoors, the Championships will see riders compete over a combination of show jumps and cross country style fences and any penalties from their jumping will be added to a ‘style’ score, which is the mark awarded by the judges on criteria such as position, rhythm and balance.
Launched in 2016 BETV is the online channel from BE bringing fans competition news and updates, top training tips and schooling exercises, stable management advice and rider interviews, along with a monthly round-up on important news. Recently announced BETV are also working in collaboration with video website An Eventful Life throughout March and April to showcase key cross country rounds from this season to immerse fans in even more competition footage each week.
