Belton International Entries Open

Belton International Press Release.

Belton International Horse Trials, which this year runs from 31st March - 2nd April, is accepting entries for both the national and international classes.

Now in its 37th year, Belton has long been a major pre Badminton run for eventing's elite to showcase their top horses ahead of the most famous event in the world, and is a great indicator of which combinations are the ones to watch in 2017; last year's winners of the Lycetts Grantham Cup, Chris Burton and Nobilis 18, went on to win Land Rover Burghley later in the year.

As ever, Belton International is well supported by loyal sponsors, many of whom return year after year. From insurance and financial experts Lycetts to horsebox manufacturers Bloomfields, Redhill Marina to Southwell Racecourse, they represent a diverse range of businesses. All believe that they benefit from their association with the horse trials, and all are key contributors to its success.

Horse owners are also well catered for courtesy of a hospitality tent provided by the Organisers, and with a new dedicated website,, they can find all the information that they might need on the Owners page. Meanwhile the new Members Marquee is accessible to all spectators who buy Membership tickets; these are available online now at a discounted rate to gate prices, and also include the benefit of forward parking.

It won't be long before we know which of the world's top eventing athletes will be heading to the picturesque Belton Park next month. We already know that we can look forward to three days of sport at its very best, in stunning surroundings, with so much more on offer than 'just' horses.
