Friends of Eventing remembered

It has been an extremely sad week for the Eventing community in Britain with the loss of four extremely popular faces from the Sport.

10/12/12:

Justin LlewelynIn Memoriam; Justin Llewelyn, 1952-2012
It is with huge sadness and shock that we have learned of the sudden death of Justin Llewelyn on the evening of Saturday 8th December 2012.

Jane PontifexIn Memoriam; Jane Pontifex, 
Sadly on this day we also heard that Jane, who was the sport of horse trials' very first official Scorer, had died at her home in Farnham, Surrey aged 84.

11/12/12:

Kenneth ClawsonIn Memoriam; Kenneth Clawson, 1949 – 2012
It was with deepest regret that we learned of the passing of former showjumping team trainer to the British Senior team, Kenneth Clawson. Kenneth sadly lost his battle with leukaemia on the afternoon of the 11th December 2012.

Ken SharpIn Memoriam: Ken Sharp 

On the 30th November we heard the sad news that former Brougham Horse Trials organiser Ken Sharp died at home on the 26th November. The funeral service took place on the 3rd December; read more about Ken's life involvement with Eventing here.
