Eventing reaches its centenary season as an Olympic sport

As well as being an Olympic year on home turf, 2012 is also the 100th year of Eventing being recognized as an Olympic sport.

Britain are at the very heart of one day and three day Eventing and as such a great number of riders from all over the world will be based here as the Olympic team selection dates draw to a close.

With the British Eventing season starting in less than a week, here are a few key dates from our Fixtures diary where you may spot international Olympic contenders both new and old around the country as part of their campaign for team selection for the Games at Greenwich.

March

April
