Event Information


Yorkshire Challenge to be held on Sunday see Qualifiers/Special Classes.
Yorkshire Challenge classes are those with dressage test BE 93 and BE 103.


Entry fees include VAT. VAT Reg No 180 7840 93. Please make cheques payable to Frickley Park Limited. Send entries to the ENTRIES SECRETARY. Separate cheques are required for each horse (with horse's name on back). Please enclose separate DL size (22cm x 11cm) self-seal SAE for each horse (with horse's name on back). INTERNET entries will be accepted on ENTRY AMENDMENTS by 04/09/2018 11:00 AM by emailing REFUND POLICY - 100% Refund for withdrawals before ballot date with 50% refund to withdrawals between ballot and withdrawal date, unless replaced (as per Rule 4.11). No refund after withdrawal date. To be eligible for a refund all withdrawals must be lodged with the Entries Secretary before close of withdrawal and written confirmation by email or letter prior to the start of the event. WAIT LIST will be maintained START TIMES are available between 06/09/2018 6:00 PM and 06/09/2018 8:00 PM on 01949 729022. Starting Times also available on website VOLUNTEERS helpers will be will be guaranteed entry provided their entry is received by ballot date, plus a XC schooling day voucher or start fee voucher for use by them or a friend, plus a gift. Bloomfields Horseboxes YCBE90 Yorkshire Challenge & White Rose Walling YCBE100 Yorkshire Challenge – Open to eligible combinations that have been placed 1st to 5th in any BE90 or BE100 level section held in Yorkshire in the preceding 12 months. See event website for full details.

Both classes run to Championship specification, with a long arena in front of Frickley Hall, followed by an enhanced XC phase before competitors undertake reverse order SJ back in the main arena.

Prize money in accordance with Rule 3.14.
White Rose Walling YCBE100: 1st £1,000 (plus BE membership and horse registration for 2019), 2nd £250, 3rd £150, 4th £100, 5th £80, 6th £60 plus other prizes
Bloomfields Horseboxes YCBE90: 1st £500 (plus BE membership and horse registration for 2019), 2nd £200, 3rd £100, 4th £60, 5th £50, 6th £40 plus other prizes
All BE90, BE100 & BE105 classes: 1st £150, 2nd £100, 3rd £60, 4th £50, 5th £40, 6th £30 plus other prizes.
BE80(T): Prizes in kind


The XC courses for both Yorkshire Challenge classes will be of a Championship specification and will be of full length with maximum jumping efforts.  They will be of a technical and challenging design, using both water complexes and the full features of the Estate. 

The BE105 course will provide an ideal opportunity for those wishing to move up to Novice.

All the other tracks, including the normal BE90 & BE100 tracks, will have variations from Frickley (1). These tracks will flow naturally around the Estate, using its hedge lines, woodland and the water complexes, and will be suitable for first-time runs.

All tracks will be invitingly dressed to encourage positive riding.
