COURSE DESCRIPTION

The water complex built in 2016 and the additional bank complex added in 2017 have both proved successful and continue to add variety to the courses. Both Novice and Intermediate courses are bold and challenging and with alternatives where required they are inviting and suitable for first-timers. All the courses are progressive, designed to educate and encourage both horse and rider. The Show Jumping is fully up to height and runs on an all weather surface. The warm-up facilities are very good, with both indoor and outdoor warm up arenas.

LOCATION

Grid reference SE208969. Richmond Equestrian Centre is situated 5 miles from the A1. Exit 52 from the A1, then follow signs for Richmond Equestrian Centre. Before you enter Tunstall village, take the first right at the 30mph sign. REC is one mile up this road on the left. The final approach road is narrow. Please allow extra time due to possible congestion. Do not enter via Catterick Garrison as there is a small, weak bridge (weight limit 7.5t) with a nasty bend. No lorries or trailers.
