Event Information

CLASSES AND FEES

Friday: priority will be given to Intermediate, then Novice classes.  BE100 class will run at end of day if numbers allow.
BE 90 class may run on Saturday and Sunday depending on entries.

ENTRIES

Entry fees include VAT. VAT Reg No 933440145. Please make cheques payable to Richmond Equestrian Centre. INTERNET entries will be accepted on {www.bdwp.co.uk/jcaley}. Internet entries preferred.
WITHDRAWALS by 18.00 Mon August 28th preferaby by email to jennifercaley.jc@gmail.com or by telephoning 01949 729022. REFUND POLICY - As per Rule 4.11. Withdrawals after ballot date will only be refunded if replaced.
STARTING TIMES are available available on website www.bdwp.co.uk/jcaley, or by calling 07808 689269 between 1900 and 2000 on Wednesday 30th August. Starting fees include a programme on collection of numbers.
Please note starting fees, correct change in CASH preferred please.

STABLING

Local and limited on site stabling available at £30.00 per night. Stabling includes straw. Anyone requiring alternative bedding to bring their own. No refund of stabling fees.

QUALIFIERS/SPECIAL CLASSES

Open Intermediate under 21 (OIu21).

PRIZES

Prizes in kind for BE90 and BE100 classes, apart from BE100RF.  All other classes (inc BE100RF) prize money lower limit, plus additional prizes in kind if sponsorship allows.  As a courtesy to sponsors, riders must attend prize giving or else make suitable arrangements by informing the secretary's office or sending a connection to the prize giving.  Not doing so will result in prizes being forfeited.  We respect that riders may have other horses to compete etc, so cannot attend in person.   Prize money will be paid by BACs providing the form given at the prize giving is returned to REC no later than 3 October 2017.


COURSE DESCRIPTION

Richmond's courses have been refreshed for the 2017 season by our new course designer, and will run over similar ground.  As ever, the courses are suitable for first timers: bold and inviting, with alternatives where required.  The courses are designed to be progressive, and to educate and encourage the horse and rider. Great care has been taken to ensure the ground conditions are in peak condition for each phase of the competition.  

The show jumping takes place on an all-weather surface.  
STUDS MUST BE REMOVED FOR THE SHOW JUMPING PHASE.

SPECIAL NOTICES

ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES/MOTORCYCLES will not be permitted. XC Schooling - on 5, 9 and 10 September.  BE, PC & RC Clinics can be booked on 6 September from 12 noon weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, please telephone 01748 811629 before leaving home. 
PARKING: Cars will be directed to park separately from the horseboxes. Disabled visitors must go to the Secretary's caravan upon arrival to be shown to the best places to view the sport.  Non-official cars are not to drive on-site as a health and safety precaution.

Skipping out Trailers and Horseboxes on site is not permitted.
ENTRANCE POLICY - Each car displaying a current BE membership card will be admitted including all occupants. Organisers and Officials Car Passes will admit the car and all occupants
