Isleham will change all four courses which run over permanent flat, extremely well-drained grassland, with the only exception a man-made mound in the fens! The courses are a combination of inviting solid and portable fences designed to give confidence for early season with alternatives, where necessary, at more difficult fences. The course features two water complexes and also makes use of original features, such as old-fashioned fen ditches. The unique going, black peat, means that, as our past record has proved we have the ability to run, however unfavourable the weather is at that time or during the lead up to the event. The ground is never holding and we provide an excellent designated on-site team during the event to maintain the ground conditions. The warm up area for the dressage is considerable.
