The event takes place in a 250acre historic park with lakes and scenic views.  Arenas and XC tracks are all easily accessible from the Lorry Park.  The  Dressage arenas are on well-drained flat pasture, with masses of space to lunge and warm up. The Show Jumping arena is flat and generous in size with a good-sized warm up area, and makes an atmospheric central hub to this vibrant friendly event. Ian Stark's tracks are bold and educational, and designed to encourage forward riding.  The terrain is undulating and the tracks make use of natural features.  Fences are well-dressed and presented, with a good mix of permanent jumps with sturdy portables to allow variation from year to year. As always we have carefully assessed and redesigned fences that caused problems last year. BE100 and Novice tracks are designed to be a fair test and educational, particularly for riders aiming to upgrade their horses in the future. These courses will run in the same direction as they were changed to in 2016. The Intermediate track is an open flowing track built with a good variety of fence types to teach and test horse and rider fairly. The Advanced course is designed to give confidence and experience. Wellingtons are required to walk the island water complex. Please see website for details of changes to jumps for 2018.

Hot and cold food available throughout the event. See website for accomodation details.
